I’ve always known I was meant to help people, I just wasn’t exactly sure how.
That changed when I became a Sports Performance Coach.
I’m genuinely excited to work with every client I have the privilege of coaching, because watching someone transform and seeing them step into their potential is exactly why I do what I do.
And somewhere along the way, I became a four-time Canadian National Armwrestling Champion (yup, it's a real sport).
I became a massage therapist after living with chronic pain from a back injury I got as a teenager. Massage was the one thing that helped me the most - not just to function, but to keep competing as a professional athlete. Naturally, I gravitated toward working with other athletes.
As I treated my clients, I started to notice a pattern: they could train hard and have all the skill in the world, but their mindset was still holding them back.
That’s when I became a hypnotherapist to help them with the mental side of performance. But it took me another four years to make it part of my business.
Honestly? My own mindset.
I had the skills of a great hypnotherapist, but my subconscious was stuck in old patterns, telling me I wasn’t good enough. No matter how hard I tried to push through and 'fake it till I make it, ' I couldn’t.
So that part of me hid on the sidelines, scared of failure and what other people would think.
Four years later, I trained as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner. I took the training for my clients, but I wasn't prepared for how it would transform me.
The tools I now use with others broke down my own mental barriers and completely shifted my beliefs about what I’m capable of.
It was freeing, like a weight was lifted. I’m proud I had the curiosity and the courage to take that leap.
The most rewarding part of what I do is seeing someone’s whole energy change the moment they believe in themselves, and how that confidence flows into the rest of their life.
I believe that if your performance mindset is on point, everything else is easier. It’s not just about sport, it shapes your identity, your values, and all your behaviors.
So if you're ready to disrupt old patterns, you're in the right place.
I’m lucky to be on this journey with my husband, Freeman, who’s also a coach and helps Dads show up as the Dad they want to be.
Our dream? To build another Skoolie (we lived in one when we were young and broke) and create a life where we can travel, work remotely, and share those adventures with our Son,
while helping others.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me outside on an adventure - climbing, rafting, snowboarding - or curled up with a good book and a flat white in my little mountain town of Valemount, BC, Canada.
