Mobile Massage Services

My specialty lies in acute and chronic pain relief. I utilize a number of massage and manual therapy techniques in order to build a customized treatment plan to help you lead the lifestyle you want.

I address specific issues and find their root cause so that you are no longer in pain. We often need to work areas of the body other than where you feel the pain because the whole body is connected.

If you are looking for a focused treatment that will hone in on your problem areas you have come to the right place.

All treatments are currently only offered on a mobile basis, in the client's home.

Please note, massage services are not covered by health benefits.

Is Rapid NFR right for me?

What is Rapid NFR?

It is a technique in which you will play a major role in the treatment. Specific pressure is applied to tender areas of connective tissue (fascia, tendons, and ligaments) while you are guided through active movements. Accessing these areas addresses the nervous system's role in alleviating tension and restriction in the body making it a quick and effective way to eliminate pain.

What is a treatment like?

Unlike a traditional massage, you remain clothed and no oil is used. I will evaluate your tissue by feeling its texture and tightness and communicating with you to find the hypersensitive areas. Precise pressure is then applied to these areas while you are guided through very specific movements. A treatment can be up to 30 minutes long or 60 minutes if combined with a traditional massage.

Is Rapid NFR painful?

Because we are working on hypersensitive areas, treatment can be uncomfortable. You may feel discomfort of about 6-8 out of 10 in terms of pain. However, we will always work within your comfort level and I will continually check in with you about the pressure. You are always in full control of the treatment and can ask for a break at any time.

Why does Rapid NFR work on connective tissue?

Fascia contains almost 1000% more sensory nerves than muscle (cool fact, eh?) and plays a significant role in pain and tension. By targeting fascia, Rapid NFR will stimulate the nervous system much more effectively, desensitize the area, and bring the brain to safety to restore normal function.

Does Rapid NFR help with acute or chronic pain?

Both! A lot of painful conditions appear to get worse over time, even an acute injury can feel like it's lingering. Often, acute pain that doesn't seem to have a distinct cause can be a by-product of an old, possibly minor, injury that did not fully heal. Rapid NFR can flush these areas and create an influx of chemical messengers to desensitize the nervous system.

Why have I never heard of Rapid NFR before?

It is based on some of the latest modern research on understanding how our bodies work. It can take a long time for research like this to  become mainstream knowledge so many doctors or physiotherapists may not have heard of it. This means it can sometimes be confused with traditional massage, but once you've had your first treatment with me you'll know it's nothing like any massage you've had before!

How much does Rapid NFR cost?

30 minute Rapid NFR: $70

60 minute Therapeutic Massage + Rapid NFR Combo: $110
